Senior Planner to join our high-performing team. Reporting to the Portfolio Lead Planner you will work on one of our designated brownfield onshore

hydrocarbon programs.


To provide project planning services; developing,

maintaining & reporting detailed project schedules & work plans services

to WorleyParsons, and its Customers.


Develop and construct project planning network diagrams and perform services surrounding a forward/backward pass.

Apply planning expertise on the effect of constraints, how schedule calculations impact the results and using the critical path method for schedule development.

Complete project reports including resource utilisation information, progress curves and milestones information while ensuring accuracy and integrity of the reports and data.

Assist in the review and develop data interfaces for third party project systems, as required

Evaluate project and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) issues and documents findings in formal and technical reports.

Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera

Provide project planning input into proposals as well as vendor/contractor bid reviews as required

Preparation and responsibility for baseline detail schedule management and integrity

Provide narratives and variation commentary for internal/external reports relating to progress achieved and schedule issues

Assist in claims evaluation

Prepare and present project planning analysis and forecasts for project management and customer review.

Assist in project risk reviews

Develop Project related Procedures (Basis of Schedule, Planning Guidelines etc)

What you will bring

Technical and Industry Experience

Demonstrated application of planning and project control practices.

Demonstrated knowledge of engineering, procurement, fabrication and construction planning processes, planning tools and project management and control techniques.

Proficient in the use of Primavera (advanced level)

Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite and able to apply, use and understanding relevant systems to the discipline

Ability to extract and compile effective and accurate reporting.

Demonstrated ability to interpret S Curves and identify schedule slippages and issues.

Proficient in the use of relevant planning Primavera software packages.

Experience with involvement in running risk analysis on large EPCM projects utilising Primavera Risk Analysis (Pertmaster) or similar.
