INGAL EPS are one of Australia’s leading manufacturer of lighting and telecommunication products and have several sites across Australia, with the main point of contact located at Acacia Ridge. As a growing company, both nationally and internationally an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Customer Service Officer to join their team and to take the lead in providing an exceptional level of customer service.

This is a very busy role as you will be the key contact point for providing customer service to both internal and external customers. You will be talking to internal sales representatives and customers on a daily basis and as such you will need to be highly organised, can multi task, have attention to detail and still remain calm.

Key tasks will include but not limited to:

  • Contact point for QLD and other sites (i.e. NSW, WA & NT) via email and phone.
  • Ensure that all orders which are completed are correct.
  • Liaise with all internal stakeholders daily to ensure that any orders coming through the pipeline will meet the various timelines.
  • Communicate in a professional and supportive manner with Customers at all times.
  • Ensure that all documents i.e. records orders, invoices, tenders and quotes are filed in a timely manner.
  • Provide general administrative assistance to the Manager when required.
  • Any other duties as directed by the Manager.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Current experience in a Customer Service role preferably in either a warehousing/ manufacturing or transport industry would be highly advantageous.
  • Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service ideally within a warehousing/ distribution/ manufacturing environment across several sites.
  • Strong communication skills – both verbal and written coupled with a professional manner
  • Proven experience in managing large volumes of work and providing customer support remotely/ on a national basis.
  • Experience with an ERP system; QAD highly advantageous.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel coupled with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience with international supply chain (beneficial but not essential).
