Opportunity for an experience Assistant Practice Manager/ front desk manager to grow their career within a successful South Australian business. Our client is a well known and respected South Australian company, who are one of Adelaide’s most advanced laser eye clinics. The opportunity to step up from a Front Desk Manager or for an experienced Assistant Practice has become available and we are looking for someone who can provide efficient and professional service, for this fast paced and hand on role.

As the new assistant practice manager, you will be responsible for:

General reception duties as well as coordination of the day to day running of the practice

Efficiently managing 6-10 staff and tasks that are to be completed on a daily basis

Overseeing all patient appointments and accounts

Managing and assisting Ophthalmic Technicians with diagnostic testing

Maintaining data entry of MYOB, creditor payments and wage processing

Promoting an environment that is safe and pleasing for patients and staff, ensuring that quality of care is of an exceptional standard at all times

Developing a strong understanding of all roles within the business

Communicating daily with the Business Manager on any issues that may arise within the practice

Adherence and implementation of all practice procedures and policies

Ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner

Managing patient accounts and ongoing maintenance of computer records

What we are looking for:
Previous experience managing, mentoring, leading teams in a similar hands on role

Proficiency in MYOB, Payroll and Creditors is essential for all applicants

A demonstrated ability to develop and nurture current and future relationships

Excellent presentation skills coupled with strong verbal, written, negotiation and persuasion skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Willingness to be hands on and anticipate possible concerns

This role would suit a results orientated individual with the motivation to drive the day to day successful running of the business.
