As part of our growth we are looking for a Scheduler with a passion for Transportation to join our team.

What the role involves:

The scheduler will play an important part in the development of timetables, vehicle schedules, shift cuts and roster design. The primary focus of this exciting role will be to schedule buses and allocate staff in the most effective and efficient way so that we meet our safety, customer experience, contractual and financial objectives and KPI targets.

This role will give you the opportunity to demonstrate the following responsibilities.

  • Review and list fatigue management legislation and EBA rules
  • Optimise timetables, vehicles, shifts and roster through optimisation principles and software
  • Daily maintenance of schedules and rosters
  • Scheduling and rostering data reporting

What we’re looking for:

You will need strong experience of data management and analysis, scheduling and rostering, enterprise agreements and workforce roster consultation and good knowledge and experience of scheduling software. You will need to demonstrate high level of problem solving skills, excellent interpersonal, team work and communication skills. You will also need advanced application skills of Hastus, Excel, Access and Google Map/Earth. A transport related degree (Logistics, Transport Management, Planning) will be an added advantage.
