    The Position

    We are currently seeking an experienced Trades Assistant to join to our residential Delta FM team in Central Queensland. This is a residential position with a roster of 5 days on 2 days off. Accommodation can be provided near site, but would also suit a local candidate who lives near Tieri in Central Queensland

    Key duties

    • Perform non-licenced activities related to trades such as electrical, plumbing and basic building works
    • Bobcat and excavator operator
    • Perform repair and maintenance work without direction
    • Cleaning and storing equipment and maintaining premises in a tidy condition
    • Proving support to other trades staff with tasks
    • Erect scaffolding and ladders
    • Receive and store materials
    • Comply with all site health safety and security procedures.

    The Person

    • Must have MR licence
    • Backhoe and excavation tickets
    • Ideally you will have experience with residential refurbishments
    • Experience general residential and planned maintenance experience
    • Current General Safety Induction (White Card)
    • Ability to work in a team but also autonomously
    • Good attention to detail
    • A current Standard 11 certificate would be advantageous
    • A valid Coal Board medical would be advantageous
