The Manager, Technology & Operations, is a senior position within the Information Communication & Technology (ICT) Services team and will play a significant role in managing the organisation’s technology infrastructure and operations. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing and directing staff in the areas of planning, development and maintenance while supporting and optimizing the hospital’s information systems infrastructure. The role also includes long term planning and budgeting, to ensure the stable and secure operation of the organization’s ICT infrastructure in support of clinical and corporate applications and technology.
Primary areas of responsibility include: local and wide area data communications networks, voice networks, server and storage services, operating systems, internet and intranet services, electronic mail, data centres and technology operations.

- Audits, Security and other Compliance Responsibilities

To be successful within this role you will need to have:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience managing technology & operations or in a similar technology oriented position
- Relevant tertiary qualification and or professional qualification in Management, Program / Project Management, Health Management, Information Technology Management or related fields
- Well developed organisational and management skills
- Well developed listening and communication skills
