With operations in all major capital cities and territories, we have several large scale projects underway, such as the National Broadband Network, coupled with a strong pipeline of future opportunities due to commence in the foreseeable future.

As the company is growing to meet operational and client demands, we are now seeking a strong administrator to support our fast paced and dynamic HR team, based in our Ultimo office.

About the role

Reporting to the HR Officer, we are looking for an experienced, self-motivator who can alleviate the day to day admin pressures from the HR and Recruitment team. This is a part-time opportunity, working approximately 25-30 hours per week across 5 days per week

To be considered for this role, the successful candidate must have strong administration and organisational skills, along with exceptional time management and the ability to juggle and prioritise tasks which will have tight deadlines. Your ability to stay calm under pressure coupled with your flexible attitude to change will see you meet your goals in this exciting position.

Your strong attention to detail and focus on quality must be unquestionable as you will be tasked with many duties that must meet our strict audit requirements.

As you will be liaising with a large number of internal & external stakeholders you must also have exceptional communication skills ensuring that your every dealing is professional and respectful leaving a good impression after each conversation.

The key duties of the role are, but not limited to:

  • Provide all round administrative support to the HR & Recruitment team
  • Ensure all sub contractor documents are checked for accuracy, and any anomalies or issues are resolved in a timely manner
  • Upload all documentation on to the in-house database
  • Send out on line training and contracts to sub contractors
  • Weekly follow up of outstanding in line training and contracts
  • General admin duties such as data entry, filing, copying, weekly reports and maintaining accurate data in our in house system

To be successful in this role, you must have the following proven key attributes:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role
  • Must have strong Microsoft office experience including Word, Excel,& Outlook with ability to quickly learn our in-house system
  • Outstanding time management and organisation skills with the ability to handle large volumes of paperwork
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written and have the ability to build positive relationship with both internal stakeholders as well as our sub contractors working in the field
  • Positive and can do attitude to take on any new duties which may include learning new and challenging tasks and where no task is too big or too small

This is initially a 6month contract position with the opportunity for a longer term opportunity.
