It provides social enterprises with the capability, investment and resources to start up, access markets and grow. Social Traders’ Connect (STC) is a unique service that has been developed by Social Traders to enable government and corporate buyers to procure from certified social enterprises. STC buyer members can access tailored support to identify opportunities, source and certify capable social enterprises, measure impact and communicate the outcomes. STC is effectively a full suite matchmaker between buyers and social enterprise suppliers.

    We are seeking a Social Enterprise Engagement Coordinator to support the future expansion of STC. Reporting to the Head of Market and Sector Development, the position will focus on maintaining and growing the social enterprise supplier base, engaging social enterprises through meaningful communications and activities and supporting them to achieve social enterprise certification in order to match buyer demand with social enterprise supply. Key activities will include recruiting and engaging social enterprise suppliers through phone and face to face engagement, managing online communications, briefing social enterprises on contract opportunities, leveraging Salesforce to maintain information and responding to buyer and supplier requests for ad hoc support.

    You will have strong customer service and relationship management skills, with an ability to present a compelling value proposition to target social enterprises. Solid IT skills are important, and experience in Salesforce will be advantageous but not essential. Your understanding of social enterprise or small business management will support your ability to engage effectively with buyers and suppliers, as will your knowledge of procurement. Importantly, you should be a self-starter who welcomes the opportunity to grow this very exciting new service within Social Traders.
