This role involves being the communication link with our Mobile Safety Camera Operators (MRSCOs) who work on the road, to ensure their safety and act as an information source. This role involves communicating with operators over the phone and radio, data input and checking, and providing general information and support to the MRSCOs while they are on the road.
To succeed in this environment you will need to:
Adhere to set policies and procedures
Work with competing priorities and people
Believe in the value of Victoria’s Road Safety Program and be keen to play a part in its success
Be comfortable dealing with people over the phone
Demonstrate previous experience in incident management/emergency response or communications room
Previous knowledge of UHF radio would be an advantage

In return, you will receive ongoing training and mentoring from engaged and passionate leaders within a small, friendly and relaxed team environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global company and make a real difference at work.
An advantage would be to live in or near the Tullamarine area. This is a health and safety requirement in order to optimise the ability for an operator to answer to requests to work shifts at short notice.
A valid Victorian Drivers Licence is a requirement of this role – chosen applicants will need to successfully complete a National Police History Check and pre-employment medical prior to commencement.
