  • Indicative Total Remuneration: $83,509 – $93,437 – Perm F/T – ASO5
  • You will be accountable to the Manager, Workforce Relations for the management of various employee relations issues and providing high quality advice and services to SA Health, health units and other client groups, which result in best practice workforce management and development. This will entail leading and coordinating employee relations projects, and contributing to workforce policy and procedure development, implementation and evaluation. You will be expected to provide advice, recommendations and support in regard to the interpretation and application of Government and SA Health workforce policies, determinations and entitlements, and State Awards and agreements. This will include preparing and developing reports, recommendations, background papers and other documents relating to employee relations and human resource management matters affecting Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN). NALHN provides care for around 341,000 people living in the northern metropolitan area of Adelaide as well as providing a number of state-wide services, and services to those in regional areas. More than 3,800 skilled staff provide high quality patient care, education, research and health promoting services.

    To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience in the provision of high level employee relations advisory and consultancy services, analytical assessment and negotiation of sound workforce outcomes. You must be capable of effectively dealing with a range of individuals, particularly senior level staff, and be proficient in the interpretation and application of Awards, Enterprise Agreements and workplace legislation. Flexible and adaptable in response to organisational and operational change, you will bring the ability to develop creative solutions to problems and deal with conflict situations in a rational and constructive manner.
