  • Indicative Total Remuneration: $106,536 – $115,567 – Temp F/T (Contract up to 12 mths) – ASO7
  • You will be responsible to the Manager Analysis and Reporting for supporting the development and delivery of financial reporting and analysis, including the provision of financial performance reporting information and forecasting. Under the Manager’s direction, you will undertake a full range of review and analysis functions designed to influence operational and strategic decision making for SA Health, and support the implementation of a Reporting & Performance Framework for SA Heath. You will also contribute to monitoring fundamental economic, industrial, and corporate developments that will have an impact on SA Health, along with supporting recommendations for investment in infrastructure and service programs. The role also contributes to the efficient and effective management of financial resources by ensuring the operation of effective systems of budgetary control, analysing the financial operations of health services, monitoring and assessing the financial risk of cost and activity pressures, and by developing and recommending policies and strategies in order to ensure that services are provided with sustainable budget allocations.

    Holding an appropriate degree in Accounting, (Finance or Economics majoring in Accounting), you will have demonstrated experience in the strategic management of financial resources. This will include undertaking financial business analysis, developing financial strategies to improve financial performance and providing concise written executive financial reports. Self-motivated, organised, and demonstrating a high level of initiative, you will bring the ability to operate independently while remaining focused on agreed objectives. Your strong leadership skills and abilities will equip you to motivate and inspire others to work together as a team.
