Indicative Total Remuneration: $74,145 – $102,253 (pro rata) – Perm P/T (32 hrs p/wk with possibility of negotiating a job share) – RN/RM1

You will assist with the provision of professional high quality nursing care to patients within the perioperative setting at Naracoorte Health Service. Assessing individual patient needs, you will plan, implement or coordinate appropriate service delivery from a range of accepted options. You will also provide health education, counselling and rehabilitation programs to improve the health outcomes of individual patients or groups. Consolidating your knowledge and skills, you will develop in capability through continuous professional development and experience and maintain cooperative and productive working relationships with all members of the health care team. Naracoorte Health Service is part of the Upper South East Health Services. Our facility includes 39 public beds, six day surgery beds, two operating theatres, same day and overnight stay, specialist consulting rooms, youth health, plus a residential aged care unit in Moreton Bay House that accommodates 11 State-funded aged care beds and 30 Commonwealth aged care beds. You will be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse and/or Midwife by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and hold or be eligible to hold a current practicing certificate. With demonstrated competence in nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards, you will have effective communication skills including, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills. With the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and prioritise workloads, you will be creative, innovative and flexible when approaching issues within a healthcare setting.
