This role presents a great opportunity to join the Corporate Finance team in the Department for Health & Ageing. You will be responsible for contributing to the development, implementation and maintenance of a reporting and performance framework across SA Health, including coordinating and preparing Australian Institute of Health and Welfare reporting. Undertaking development, implementation and maintenance of a range of complex financial analyses and reporting services, you will also assist in the preparation of Portfolio bilateral budget information, financial briefing notes for the annual Parliamentary Estimates and Commonwealth reporting requirements. Holding an appropriate degree in accounting, finance or economics majoring in accounting, you will have proven experience in resource management, undertaking business case development and analysis and developing strategies to improve performance. A confident leader who can provide advice and support to a range of clients and stakeholders resulting in improved business operations, you will be skilled in preparing high quality written reports with strategic recommendations for executive and management decision making processes. Your proven ability to set and manage priorities, achieve outcomes under significant pressure and operate effectively in a commercially and politically sensitive environment will make you the ideal person for the role.
