The RSL Queensland Branch is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing advocacy and housing assistance to Current and former Australian Defence Force personnel and their families.
The Finance Officer is responsible for the accounts payable and receivable functions for the organisation, and including the following tasks:
Entering invoices, processing payments and responding to supplier enquiries
Creating invoices, receipts, banking and responding to customer enquiries
Manage and review of bank accounts, associated cash flow requirements and general bank correspondence
Transactional reporting and general ledger reconciliations as required
Review and update financial policy and procedures manual according to business or compliance requirements
Distribution of Employee Superannuation payments
To be successful in this role you will need to possess:
At least 3 years of experience in finance functions, including Accounts Payable and Receivable, Payroll and Financial Reporting
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word)
High attention to detail and degree of accuracy
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a service excellence approach
Demonstrated organisational, time management and coordination skills
