Remuneration value up to $102,612 p.a., comprising salary between $61,190 – $89,935 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP3) (temporary position available for two years)Job Ad Reference: H1704WB238543.
The Purpose of the Role: • To complete a Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound under the clinical supervision of experienced Sonographers. • The Trainee Sonographer reports to the Senior Sonographer/Radiographer as their direct supervisor. • The Trainee Sonographer is a day worker and may be required to work across a range of clinical areas depending on qualifications and Service staff levels. They may also be required to participate in the on call roster and shift roster.
Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) Requirements: It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against the following vaccine preventable diseases during their employment:
- Measles • Mumps • Rubella • Varicella (chicken pox) • Pertussis (whooping cough) • Hepatitis B
Existing staff that are engaged prior to 1 July 2016 are not subject to this condition of employment unless they apply for a role with VPD requirements that is within a different Queensland Health entity (ie one HHS to another HHS, Department to a HHS, or HHS to Department).
