The Branch supports stakeholders to realise the potential of our people in the delivery of quality healthcare to Queenslanders.
The branch delivers a range of human resource services to attract and retain staff, build workforce culture and capability, develop and maintain employment arrangements, monitor and manage workforce performance, and provide assurance that the department’s statutory obligations are met.The role Reporting to the Program Manager (Culture and Engagement), you will be responsible for the delivery of the Department’s employee opinion survey (Working for Queensland) and in driving the dissemination and use of its results and be an integral contributor to the Department’s Cultural Change Program. You will design, develop, plan and manage cultural development strategies to address move the organisation closer to its desired cultural state. In addition, you will also coach, guide and provide professional support and mentoring to team members and colleagues.The successful personYou will have demonstrable experience in the management of major projects, priorities and tasks to meet deadlines and achieve high level results at the organisational level. You will have proven success in contributing to the delivery of a broad range of organisation development initiatives that contribute to the readiness, effectiveness and high performance of employees in a large, complex organisation.
In addition, you will have a proven track record in providing high level interpersonal communication, facilitation, negotiation and relationship management skills. While not essential for the role, formal qualifications in Human Resources, Organisational Development or Psychology are highly desirable.
