The aim of this role is to:
Assess and prioritise complaints and referrals;
Liaise with complainants, licensees, accountants and internal and external stakeholders;
As required, assist with proactive financial investigations into whether QBCC licensees meet the Minimum Financial Requirements;
Provide recommendations about compliance with the Minimum Financial Requirements;
Collate and report on complaints and investigation outcomes;
Assist the Team Leader Financial Investigations and the Principal Financial Investigator in the conduct of audits and financial investigations;
Provide advice to external customers and other QBCC staff regarding financial requirements for licensing and compliance with the Minimum Financial Requirements.
Provide exceptional customer service to all staff of the Commission and external customers.
Demonstrate sound financial analysis, investigative and problem solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to forge strong working relationships with key stakeholders and strong influential and negotiation skills.
Demonstrated ability to drive improved performance outcomes through the use of innovative problem solving skills.
High level of time management skills in order to deliver on a broad range of activities.
