CASE MANAGER

Bunbury, WA

12 Month Fixed Term Contract, Full time

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Case Manager to join our Bunbury Office for a 12 month fixed term contract to manage New Employer (Redeployment) claims.

The aim of the New Employer Case Manager is to provide a range of co-ordinated high quality case management services to stakeholders by working with a key team of multidisciplinary professionals. To promote the achievement of sustainable New Employer return to work objectives and responsible financial solutions through the application of the QBE Service delivery model.

As a New Employer Case Manager you will manage complex claims with workers who are permanently job detached, have been certified as permanently unable to return to their role or affected by the closure of an employer business or as a result of their position being made redundant. The position involves face to face contact with stakeholders through case conferencing, claims reviews and on-site visits. You will need to adhere to set timeframes, ensure compliance with all legislative codes and company policies and enter accurate information on all claims onto our database.

To succeed in this role, you will have experience in a client service role with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Worker’s Compensation case management role or Rehabilitation consultant within an Occupational Rehabilitation or Injury Management Advisor role, Rehabilitation counsellor with occupational rehabilitation clinical experience or previous exposure to effective Job Placement programs such as those in Job Network Providers or recruitment agencies. Qualifications in Allied Health or Industrial experience in the provision of rehabilitation services would be advantageous.
