Our client having been in operation for well over 20 years in Australia and 60 years worldwide now are a leader in the provision of automotive equipment and accessories to a range of different sectors such as mining, road & passenger transport, agriculture, construction, earthmoving, marine and office / corporate environments.

Based out of our clients Brisbane premises, a key role has arisen for a candidate with at least 3 – 4 years external sales experience to join the company in the role of Key Account Manager. Our client having been in operation for well over 20 years in Australia and 60 years worldwide now are a leader in the provision of automotive equipment and accessories to a range of different sectors such as mining, road & passenger transport, agriculture, construction, earthmoving, marine and office / corporate environments.

Based out of our clients Brisbane premises, a key role has arisen for a candidate with at least 3 – 4 years external sales experience to join the company in the role of Key Account Manager .

The Role:
In the role of Key Account Manager your main duties and responsibilities will be to:

  • Source and uncover new business opportunities on a national basis
  • Identify, build and cement relationships with key client stakeholders on a national level
  • Work in closely with your network of Branch Managers and Sales Representatives to ensure business opportunities are rolled out effectively and maximised
  • Provide regular feedback to the Managing Director around business activities and predicated pipeline work to be capitalized on
  • Stamp your presence on the business around the key importance of maximizing the opportunities presented to the company

The Candidate:
In order to be considered for this role it will be expected that you will cover off the following attributes:

  • Proven background in external sales experience in a similar role
  • Someone who is very business savvy and has the ability to quickly sniff an opportunity and capitalize on it
  • The ability to build effective client relationships both on an external and internal level
