An opportunity is currently available for a full time Machine Operator on Day Shift . Key to your success is your ability to show a demonstrated commitment to reaching team goals and being a team player.
This position is based at our production site at Tingalpa , called The Smith’s Snackfood Company .
This role is based on the day shift. The day shift hours operate across 5 days each week, Monday to Friday , starting at 6:30am and finishing at 2:30pm . Overtime is available for those interested on an as-needs basis but candidates who apply for this position must be available at a minimum during the specified hours above.
Once fully trained in the position, the hourly pay rate will be $30.64/hour .

Key responsibilities of the role include:
Advanced centre-lining and process monitoring techniques;

Quality performance optimisation;

Advanced processing equipment operations and cleaning;

Advanced production line management;

Preparation and completion of accurate records;

Materials and waste management;
Equipment calibration and monitoring;

Ensuring flavour testing is completing effectively;

Ensuring accurate flavour is supplied in accordance with run;

Complete quality checks as required.

Essential requirements of the role include:
Previous experience in a similar machine operation position is highly desirable but is not essential;

Previous experience in a position using mechanical skills would be viewed favourably but is not essential;

Previous manufacturing experience is highly desirable but not essential;

A proven team player with the ability to communicate effectively;

A record of reliability, safe work practices and proven results;

Initiative to learn new skills and challenge yourself;

A flexible approach to ensure the job gets done right the first time;
