Recruitment Administrator, Sydney CBD
NB. Australian citizenship/PR required
We currently have an opportunity for a strong Recruitment Administrator to join our highly successful onsite recruitment team who work with a Federal Government agency based in the heart of Sydney CBD. The onsite recruitment team provides national coverage for all recruitment needs across Australia and are also responsible for running the annual Graduate recruitment program.
This role is ideal for someone who seeks an opportunity to develop their career in internal recruitment. We seek an individual who is professional, customer focused and has a proven ability to successfully work autonomously and as part of a team.
This role will involve the following;

  • Posting and maintaining advertisements on the career sites
  • Management of the Applicant Tracking System
  • Reference checking and contract generation
  • Assisting the Senior Recruiters with strategic sourcing
  • Conducting database searches for specific roles
  • Screening candidates and organising interviews with candidates and hiring managers
  • Various other ad hoc duties as and when required

To succeed in this role, you will have excellent organisational and administrative skills. You will be a great communicator who is professional and courtesy in your approach to handling complex problems or difficult stakeholders. Technological adeptness is key, including the ability to use a variety of software packages such as MS Office. A relevant tertiary qualification in commerce, law, business or psychology with a focus on human resources is highly regarded but not essential.
