    The Role The Events Fundraising Support Officer is responsible for supporting the Events Fundraising Team to implement the Fundraising Strategy to ensure a quality supporter experience, increase participation and higher retention, contributing to grow net income across the Events portfolio. They will also contribute to leveraging the Events portfolio, to build the life time value of the supporter base for Oxfam Australia.

    We are looking for an individual with excellent administration, communication and logistical skills to support the Events Fundraising team. This will include administering event forums and inboxes, preparing for functions, financial processing, telephone campaigns and compiling information packs.

    This position plays an important role in ensuring that all of Oxfam’s fundraising events positively and accurately reflect the work, values, and vision of Oxfam Australia.

    Selection Criteria You will have experience in the following areas:

    • Providing administrative support to a fundraising team
    • Communicating with event fundraisers via telephone and email
    • Managing and processing event income in a timely manner
    • Managing the distribution process of fundraising materials and resources.
    • Providing logistical and administrative skills to support a variety of functions

    Appointment to this position will require a satisfactory clearance of a police check and/or Working with Children Check.
