About us

The Department of Justice provides an effective
justice system by delivering programs and services which contribute to building
safe communities and the protection of rights.

The OGC provides high level, strategic, timely,
accurate and politically relevant legal and policy advice. The area has
specialised knowledge in the legislation administered by the Attorney General
and Minister for Justice. OGC staff manage risks, costs, identify
systemic issues and advise on ways of limiting exposure to liability.

About the role

In this role you will undertake a range of administrative and secretarial
support services including word processing, data entry, preparation of
correspondence, taking minutes and attending to telephone customer service
inquiries. This role is a point of
contact for inquiries from staff and clients and provides a timely and
effective information and referral service.

interpersonal skills are essential in this role.
