About the Opportunity
Council is looking for a number of OOSH Educators to join the OOSH team and assist with leading a professional Education and Care team and step up to the role of Centre Director when required. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills , be passionate about working closely with other educators, children and families as well as the community to ensure the delivery of a quality education and care service , in accordance with the Education and Care Services National Law and National Regulations.

Salary: Employment is under the Local Government (State) Award . This position is placed in Grade 5 of Council’s salary structure with a salary range of $25.40 per hour to $29.02 per hour. Commencement salary will depend upon qualifications, experience and competencies.
Employment conditions: This is a part-time position required to work 10 hours a week, need to be available to be rostered between 6am and 6pm, although the regular hours are between 2.30pm and 6pm Monday to Friday.

There is a simple two-step process for getting a new Working With Children Check
1. Fill in an on-line form or call the helpline to have someone fill in a form for you.
2. Take the application number to a motor registry , pay the fee (if applicable) and have your identity confirmed (you will need to take appropriate identification with you).
