This vacancy is maternity leave relief for an initial period of up to 31 Dec 17 for 10 hours per week; the hours and period of employment may change according to the maternity leave requirements. There is also the possibility of an extension at same / reduced hours.”

Selection Criteria
Bachelor of or post graduate Degree of Exercise Physiology and current ESSA Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) Registration or eligible for the same and evidence of no less than 3 years clinical experience.

Demonstrated ability to provide a professional level of Exercise Physiology service to acute inpatients under minimal direct supervision

Demonstrated experience in exercise assessment & prescription for chronic disease, rehabilitation & aged-related illness population

Ability to plan and coordinate client care independently and operate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Demonstrated understanding of the interface between acute, sub-acute and community based service provision.

An understanding and knowledge of Aboriginal social, cultural and economic issues; a capacity to flexibly develop local responses to community needs; and cross cultural communication skills.

Valid unrestricted drivers licence for use in NSW/Australia

Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication and use a computer keyboard, work with a word-processing and an e-mail software application.
