  • $65K+ superannuation – negotiable (pro-rata) salary – contract with a view to permanent

Our successful family-owned NATA accredited laboratory, providing services for S E Qld food and health industry clients, is recruiting for an experienced contract Microbiologist .

You will work full time, Monday to Friday. Reporting to the Director, you will be required to actively participate in NATA audits and undertake advanced level microbiological procedures such as confirmations and bench testing.

To be considered for this role, you will have: -

  • A Bachelor of Microbiology or equivalent
  • 2 years previous Microbiology laboratory experience in a client-focussed environment
  • Current NATA signatory status relating to food and water testing, or, ability to attain
  • Demonstrated experience in adhering to NATA requirements
  • Experience in the use of LIMS software (highly regarded)
  • High level of attention to detail; excellent communication and organisation skills
  • The ability to work in a cohesive team environment.
