Registry Marketing team, Corporate Marketing & Communications teams, Naming Services team and Professional Services team Direct Reports: No direct reports Overview Reporting to the Marketing Manager for Registry Solutions, the Marketing Communications Advisor will l be responsible for the development and execution of marketing communications for a suite of products within the Registry business. A key responsibility of this position will will be working alongside the Campaign Manager and Graphic Designer to create integrated campaigns with innovative, audience-specific messaging aligned with the overall marketing strategy and deliver on the business’ commercial objectives. The Marketing Communications Advisor will also liaise regularly with our US based Corporate Communications team to ensure Registry activities are integrated across the rest of the Neustar business. The Marketing Communications Advisor works closely with internal stakeholders to develop and execute marketing communications plans as part of the overall go-to-market strategy for the Registry business. The ongoing development of a robust and integrated global content generation process for the Registry business by unifying an approach to communications inputs, channels and outputs is essential in the position. Tactical planning and execution on a wide range of communications activities – from content creation, media relations, crisis management and social media, to internal and client communications will be required. Key Areas of Responsibility The following are general areas of responsibility for the Marketing Communications Advisor. From time to time these areas may vary and additional responsibilities may be added. Marketing Communications Planning Assist the Marketing Manager with the development of marketing communication strategies to support the overall business objectives Develop and implement marketing communication plans for a suite of Registry products Conduct a review of existing communications and implement changes to maximise impact Implement systems for evaluating the effectiveness of communication activities Content Creation Develop and implement a robust and integrated global content generation process for the Registry business across multiple communications inputs, channels and outputs Create audience-specific content and copy for use across multiple outputs: blogs; social media; websites; advertising; etc. Support the development of B2B and B2C integrated marketing campaigns by creating innovative, audience-specific messaging aligned with the overall business objectives Collaborate with the Marketing Communications Coordinator in the implementation of tweets, blog posts and digital content in line with overarching marketing and brand strategy Ensure a consistent presence is maintained and displayed across all internal and external communication platforms Media Relations Cultivate relationships with local and national journalists Pitch news stories as required to local and national online and offline publications to support the product and business objectives Field and delegate media requests in coordination with the Corporate Communications team Build ongoing relations with the Corporate Communications team to integrate Registry Solutions with the overall Neustar communications/PR strategy Manage the day to day relations between Registry and appointed marketing communications vendors Crisis Communications Manage the crisis communications strategy and process ensuring it is kept up to date, liaising with the Corporate Communications team as required Lead the communications responsibilities around any Registry Solutions business crisis situation in conjunction with the Marketing Manager Identify and manage activities and events in market and industry that are likely going to become media issues Monitor the media for any risks to existing or known crisis situations and report to the relevant stakeholders as required Competitive Intelligence Support the media monitoring of brand and industry news, trends and updates Conduct market research with the support of other team members to drive campaign initiatives and market leadership Monitor competitor activity Reporting Report on the status of communications on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis as required Maintain and file communications reports Maintain a media and vendor contact list Quality Management System The Australian office is committed to maintaining a Quality Management System.
