Your role in the future: As the Risk and Controls Analyst you will be responsible for supporting the Risk & Control Manager & Forensic Business Analyst. This role supports identifying and mitigating assurance risk, including managing fraud prevention activities with delivery partners, risk and control identification and remediation and change implementation to minimise interruption to business processes. You can contribute to: Identifying recovery opportunities and manage the execution of recoveries Supporting “deep dives” on specific Payment Assurance work streams Providing Subject Matter Expert input, and supporting in driving improved controls to the wider business Data and forensic analysis to identify recovery opportunities and analyse patterns of DP activities (including initial investigations and detailed discoveries) and raising findings with the Risk & Controls Manager. Supporting initiatives to understand and evaluate accounting implication of payment and recovery processes, and providing business awareness sessions and trainings. Making recommendations to the Risk & Controls Manager for potential remediation of identified process gaps based on the analysis conducted to ensure commercial contract payment processes have sufficient controls in place. Supporting monitoring and implementation activities for improving controls and enhancements into the broader business. A bit about you: This role would suit an individual with a strong background in finance and commercial experience in a large organisation. Your strong finance understanding of at least one core finance system will assist your ability to work well in a fast paced environment. You will also have an interest for driving and being successful in finance or payment business process improvement initiatives. Familiarity with project methodologies is essential and also communicating with impact and influence. Importantly this role is will require someone who is accountable and can build strong relationships through achieving organisational objectivise.
