    Designers and researchers on these teams provide insights into our users and inspiration from the world outside NAB. They work with the wider team to design solutions that leverage current and new technology to meet real customer needs.

    About the Role

    The CX Designer will work directly with delivery teams, to see their designs in the hands of real customers including:

    • Leading the design of customer experiences for key customer segments
    • Supporting a design thinking methodology across NAB to provide creative, innovative and appropriate solutions to business and customer challenges
    • Working collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver solutions that are desired by customers, doable (feasible) and deliver business value (viable)
    • Conducting customer research (prototype testing, contextual enquiries, ethnographic research), design activities (including customer journeys, prototypes, user flows, UX) using inclusive design (solutions are accessible)

    This role contributes to both a business as usual environment as well as in an agile innovation lab environment.

    About You

    You are someone who is driven by a desire to improve people’s lives through design, and is pragmatic about the how. Curious, optimistic and empathetic to finding the best methods, and value collaboration.

    As the successful candidate, you will have a strong Service Design background within similar roles across different disciplines and industries, covering the entire customer experience.

    You will be a team player, willing to work alongside a highly motivated, energised and dynamic team and share the same passion and drive for human centered design.

    You will be an optimistic problem solver who can find ways to get things done (and maybe a little bit of you wants to change the world) – you believe great design is fundamental to a great solution.
