As a key member of the operations team, this highly visible Supply Chain Demand Planner role has the accountabilities and job scope that will directly influence company performance.
Based in Head Office, you will work with the Supply Chain Director to ensure DIFOT objectives are achieved. As the Demand Planner you will be the conduit between sales, supply chain, marketing, warehousing and distribution, and customer support. Developing and executing Inventory Plans and Demand Plans across multiple sites in Australia and New Zealand, you will:
Create and maintain forecasting models to optimise inventory demands
Develop a robust inventory management framework to balance plant capability with customer demands
Monitor sales forecasts for all customers and products
Enhance logistics plans to optimise transport operations and costs across the network
Gather business intelligence and make recommendations to Senior Executives across departments
Raise purchase orders to ensure supply of third party materials meet operational demands
Coordinate inventory transfers across AUS and NZ
To be considered for the role it is essential that you have Demand Planning experience working for a manufacturing, FMCG or logistics provider. Tertiary qualified with experience driving inventory and supply strategies, you will have:
Strong analytical and strategic thinking ability
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management capability
Proven ability to meet tight deadlines
Experience using Pronto will be highly regarded
