Marketing and Communications creates integrated communications and campaigns that aim to make the Morningstar brand tribal. Consisting of marketing managers, designers, writers, corporate communications professionals, digital strategists, behavioral scientists, and more, this collaborative team serves our marketing needs across our business. The Opportunity :
We are looking for a results-driven and hands-on Marketer with experience in managing cross channel end-to-end digital campaigns and communications to join our Australasia Marketing and Communications team, based in Sydney.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing – ANZ, you will have the opportunity to develop and execute acquisition, lead nurturing and ongoing communication strategies across all channels and customer touchpoints including events, direct communications, digital advertising and content (web, mobile, social), PR and other channels where relevant.
Your focus on measurement and ongoing optimization will ensure the Morningstar brand is elevated as a trusted and independent source of leading investment insights and solutions for investors, governments, asset managers, financial advisers and other industry participants.

Key Responsibilities: Work with the Head of Marketing and Head of Communications to execute successful communication and content marketing programs, from planning to creative development and delivery. Act as a primary liaison between the global teams, local teams, and agencies to execute optimized marketing campaigns, then analyse and articulate ROI to stakeholders to inform future planning. Foster relationships with creative, media, and technology agencies and vendors to innovate and optimise the performance of all digital channels, such as owned, paid and organic search, social, and display. Partner with key internal stakeholders including product owners and the sales teams to coordinate end to end lead generation. Drive consistency across marketing creative and activities to leverage each other’s activities. Drive marketing optimisation initiatives to shift towards current digital solutions and improve our social media presence. Proactively review the business processes and brand strategies, and take initiative to identify opportunities for enhancement. Perform other duties as necessary from time to time. Requirements: A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of work experience in marketing, communications, or advertising, preferably within the financial services industry. Experience with financial advisor space is desirable. Proven ability to design, develop and implement content-led marketing campaigns and activities. Demonstrated knowledge, experience and passion for digital marketing (including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube) as well as an appreciation for traditional marketing. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to address different audience needs using an innovative approach. Exceptional project and time management skills with strong attention to detail, and a proactive approach and drive to meet required deadlines. Proven ability to build effective internal and external relationships and to work both collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment and independently, when required. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, (including InDesign), Illustrator and Photoshop, MailChimp, WordPress, Google Analytics, Microsoft Office 365. Ability to form strong working relationships with key stakeholders (globally and locally) to obtain insights and best practice examples to optimise local marketing effectiveness.
