Monadelphous is committed to attracting, developing and retaining the right people who are highly competent, live the company’s values and actively contribute to our long-term success. Currently Monadelphous is seeking a highly capable, confident Recruitment Officer who is available immediately to assist with Talent pooling and Assessment Centres. To be successful in this role you will have previous recruitment experience, preferably in a shutdown environment with a focus on blue / grey collar technical and trade roles. Monadelphous run successful assessment centre’s that cover multidiscipline areas and are responsible for talent pooling and ensuring that all candidates are job ready. This person will have to maintain a high volume of engagement with prospective candidates. Reporting to the Senior Recruitment Coordinator – Assessment Centres, you will play a key role in candidate management processing a large number of candidates per week. Key responsibilities of the role include:

Conducting research on targeted sourcing channel strategies to build the talent pools and to stimulate candidate interest;
Conducting the pre-screen recruitment process to ascertain the candidate’s suitability to employment opportunities with the company;
To maintain consistent communication with the talent pool through the effective management of various ‘keep in touch’ initiatives;
Maintaining a tracking register for the assessment centres and compliance of candidates within the talent pools
Assisting with the smooth running of assessment centres

We are looking for an enthusiastic person with a minimum of 1 year recruitment experience within the resource sector, to join our fun and energetic team. The successful applicant will gain exposure a vast array of recruitment duties in a supported environment. To be successful:

Be able to demonstrate solid experience in high volume recruitment and candidate care;
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel;
Ability to present work within required timeframes to a high standard;
A highly organised with great attention to detail;
Talent Pooling / Matching suitable candidates for multiple trades based opportunities within a resources environment;
Commitment to providing excellent customer service;
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities;
Ability to travel to various locations when required;
Exposure to Fast track and is preferred but not essential
