    KPMG’s Resource Management team plays a vital role in driving the efficient and effective use of our teams to optimise productivity and profitability.
    A new position has become available in our Sydney office to support the growing Resource Management function supporting the Risk Consulting team. The successful candidate will be a motivated, commercially minded individual, who will work closely with the National Resource Manager and the broader Resource Management team.

    Your new role

    The Risk Consulting Resource Consultant responsibilities include:

    • Cascading Resource Management principles and promoting the value in good resource management practices to the business
    • Providing analyses and insights on resource metrics by producing and reviewing reports and financial information to proactively identify issues
    • Providing resource solutions and processes which drive the efficient and effective use of the firm’s talent to optimise productivity and profitability
    • Working closely with stakeholders and cross divisional Resource Management teams to re-deploy staff and identify capability needs
    • Liaising with other support functions across the firm including HR, Finance, Operations
    • Meeting with key stakeholders from the Internal Audit and Financial Risk Management teams to discuss resource allocation, pipeline and operational matters
    • Facilitating the accuracy of KPMG’s Resource Management tool (Retain)
    • Supporting the development of junior resources within the team

    You bring to the role

    To be successful in this position, you will possess:

    • Previous resource management or workforce planning experience in a fast moving professional services, consulting or project based environment
    • A passion for people and for solving complex and challenging issues
    • Exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills with an ability to diplomatically challenge the status quo
    • A high level of organisation, and the ability to multi-task and analyse information
    • A sound ability to perform autonomously with a willingness to be innovative, resilient and to adapt to a constantly evolving environment
