The role:

Based in Bella Vista, the main purpose of this role is to deliver all aspects of multi-site and multi-channel workforce management initiatives to ensure the optimisation of our Care Coordination Department. This is a fast paced role which requires a high level of organisation, attention to detail and the ability to think outside of the box. This person will be provided with the framework, data to create and develop successful methodologies. The Workforce Panning Analyst role is to ensure we maximise business performance and deliver on our promise to our customer through proactive management of our talent pool.

To be successful for this position you will have experience with the following:

  • Supporting the optimisation of key performance metrics in the areas of demand forecasting, scheduling and capacity planning
  • Analyse historical data including customer churn and attrition. Overlay strategies or demand changes to produce short and long term forecast requirement
  • Developing processes for reviewing historical performance, identifying operational drivers & constraints, developing models and evaluating operating results to improve plan accuracy
  • Produce accurate and meaningful forecasting and scheduling to deliver optimised resources to ensure high standard of customer service delivery
  • Produce resource management plans for key stakeholders to address resource related opportunities and threats, escalate skill gaps for recruiting and upskill opportunities
  • Actively available capacity by understanding capability and proactively identifying opportunities for all available resources
  • Operate effectively as part of the Workforce Planning Team to contribute to an environment that encourages teamwork, personal growth and development and overall excellence
  • Working collaboratively with relevant business stream to understand planning drivers and to ensure that current and accurate information is used

Skills and experience required:

  • Workforce Planning experience
  • Success in producing optimisation and automation of workforce planning systems.
  • Strong forecasting and scheduling principles
  • Excellent coordination and prioritisation abilities
  • Analytical background
  • Ability to think outside of the box
  • Sound written and verbal skills
  • Excellent ability to connect and build rapport with multiple stakeholders
  • Previous experience and knowledge of the Aged Care will be highly valued.
  • Experience in data analysis and documentation/data reporting
  • Experience in manipulating large amounts of information in Excel to extract data results
  • Proficiency with SQL; must be able to execute existing queries as well as edit and write new queries
