About the role

The Project Officer is required to assist the implementation of a range of projects across the Holocaust Survivor Support Program; including (but not limited to) marketing initiatives, the implementation of a Client Satisfaction Survey, administrative duties and a variety of client related activities and projects. The Project Officer will be required to assist with specific time-bound projects, be proactive in marketing our services and programs available to Holocaust Survivors, assist with the collection of data and reports having regard to specific funding requirements and directives of the Program Manager.

This is a 3 month contract, full time hours.

Responsibilities include

  • Provide high level administrative support to the HSSP
  • Coordinate survey distribution
  • Distribute, receive, and record questionnaires from client and stakeholder groups gathering qualitative and quantitative data
  • Encourage participation and monitor the response rate
  • Contribute to the development of marketing strategies and planning
  • Market and promote our services and programs to Holocaust survivors, their families and internal and external service providers
  • Assist with the program’s reporting requirements and provide back-up support to the rest of the team as required and across a variety of admin duties

What we are looking for

  • Excellent administrative and marketing knowledge
  • Lateral thinking
  • Demonstrated skills and experience working effectively with clients from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
  • Demonstrated skills to implement questionnaires and undertake data collection
  • Ability to speak and read Russian would be highly desirable
  • Marketing skills also highly desirable
