ABOUT THE COMPANY.

This engineering team is highly regarded for it’s strength in providing a full range of services, including Civil, Hydraulic and Structural Engineering across NSW. Due to the increased demands in the industry, they are seeking a Civil Design Engineer to join team on an initial contract with the potential for an ongoing or permanent opportunity.

ABOUT THE POSITION.

Based in a Sydney metropolitan council, as a Design Engineer, you will work and specialise on civil works and environmental assessments on a contract basis. In this position you will work alongside an established team of engineers and will report directly to the Team Leader.

DUTIES.

Conduct surveying of civil works
Prepare design and documentation
Assist the assessments of DA’s
Prepare stakeholder correspondance SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.

Qualifications in Civil Engineering (TAFE/Degree)
Working knowledge of MS Office, and AutoCAD/CivilCAD
Strong communication, presentation and time management skills
Substantial NSW Local Government/State Government experience CULTURE.
