The opportunity
We have an opportunity for a Project Scheduler to be a part of our Precinct and Infrastructure Team within TfNSW Infrastructure and Services. This position plays a key role in delivering the Transport access program of works and reports to the precincts and infrastructure Project Controls Manager.
We are looking for a Project Scheduler who can:

  • Demonstrate and provide previous examples of cost loading P6 project schedules and how this information is used to monitor the project
  • Demonstrable experience in implementing, maintaining and managing earned value on Primavera P6 schedule.
  • Demonstrate past experience at managing and developing detailed schedules in a Large portfolio or Program using P6
  • Demonstrate interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with the ability to manage key stakeholders at all levels.

And has experience in:

  • Building construction and car parks
  • Assessing contractors claims and TAE’s
  • The use of risk analysis tools such as Primavera risk or Acumen risk
  • Both Contractor and Client side environments

The scheduler is responsible for managing the detailed Level 3 P6 schedule for the Delivery phases in consultation with other project members/stakeholders and should have a good understanding of working in a government environment. They are also required to work closely with the contractors, analyse their schedules and actively manage the schedules with them to ensure a successful outcome.

Essential requirements

  • +5 Years of experience as a scheduler in Design & Construction projects
  • +5 Years of experience in rail infrastructure projects.
