Assisting with provision of optimum service to patients and clinical staff by undertaking distribution of pharmaceuticals, participating in the preparation of manufactured products and error-free dispensing of prescriptions.
Community pharmacy technicians with a Certificate III in Dispensing are invited to apply. Training in hospital pharmacy will be provided.
This is a full time position, however, job share arrangments will be considered.
An eligibility list will be created for similar positions, both permanent and temporary, in the future.

Able to demonstrate excellent dispensing skills/techniques including calculation and measurement skills.
Proven capacity to work as a team member.
Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven organisational skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated understanding of the principles of Work Health and Safety.
Completed a minimum of an accredited Pharmacy Technician Certificate III issued by a Registered Training Organisation in Hospital Pharmacy or Community Dispensary or has qualifications deemed by the employer to be equivalent.
Demonstrated commitment to continuous quality improvement.
Previous experience in hospital pharmacy or ability to demonstrate the skills required for activities such as ordering pharmaceuticals, supplying medications to wards and manufacturing products.
