This role works within HammondCare Mission, Motivation and Mission in Action to provide quality healthcare to patients under supervision, while developing a broad knowledge of the principles and practice of palliative medicine and a satisfactory level of competence in palliative medicine as required for Advanced Training.

Selection Criteria
Please briefly address each criterion individually in a cover letter – bullet points or short paragraphs are OK
Essential Criteria:
1. MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with Medical Board of Australia
2. Experience in Palliative Medicine or related specialty
3. Current Driver’s Licence
4. Completed at least 4 years residency post-graduation
5. Proven satisfactory clinical performance, supported by submission of two current referees
6. Demonstrated sound, effective communication skills
7. Clear understanding of, and personal commitment to, the Mission, Motivation & Mission in Action of HammondCare (outlined below)
8. Demonstrated ability to work in a team.
9. Organisational ability – both personal organisation and ability to supervise others.
10. Demonstrated compassion and caring attitude.
