Overview of Role
We are on the hunt for a highly motivated, goal-oriented, and dedicated Paid Search Engine Specialist (PPC/SEM) who is passionate about learning and driv ing results to the next level. In this role, you will be responsible for reporting and analysis in support of the optimisation and development of our SEM campaigns, ensuring all deliverables are executed on time. As a member of the Search team you will work collaboratively to develop and deliver innovative and effective solutions in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that make an impact.

This role reports to the Search Account Manager .

Measures of Success :
In three months : Taken responsib ility for supporting a n SEM Account Manager in the day-to-day management of their clients’ accounts to deliver a best-in-class SEM solution and deliver against targets This includes conducting keyword builds, ad copy, and preparing and presenting reports to both internal teams and clients C over ed all aspects of SEM campaign development, exec ution, monitoring and reporting Pr ovided regular reporting to key internal and external stakeholders

In six months : Become proficient across GroupM Connects suite of SEM account management and optimisation tools/techniques Taken ownership of creating new paid search campaigns, conducting bid management and daily optimisations to drive traffic/revenue; w here appropriate, directly manage your own ( agency ) client accounts Implemented account optimisation that have made a measurable impact to our client’s campaign performance Started training programs and taking part in learning initiatives

In 12 months : E ffectively and efficiently be hitting all of your client KPIs and targets for the year Implemented advanced Search Engine Marketing campaign management and optimisation techniques Supported the SEM Account Manager on build ing out new products, opportunities and projects, to enhance Connect’s SEM product and drive efficiencies through the team

Responsibilities of this Role

The key responsibility is to support the Search Account Manager in the day-to-management of Paid Search camp aigns to the highest standard, ensuring c ampaigns are budgeted accurately, tracked appropriately and optimised following SEM best practices.
Implement regular campaign optimisations including manual campaign, ad copy and keyword optimisations by utilising a variety of bid management and c ompetitor tracking technologies M anage Search budgets and daily spend levels for allocated client base and ensure targets are met for all clients Produce weekly and monthly performance reports and presentations for allocated clients and, where appropriate, present reports back to the client P rovide campaign statistics to assist SEM Account Manager / Search Director for monthly client presentations and quarterly reviews M anage Tier 2/3 client’s accounts to achieve campaign goals and objectives Attend required meetings with direct and agency clients Manage work flow to ensure agreed deadlines are met and executed tasks are 100% accurate Manage up to and work with the SEM Account Manager to develop and implement client search strategies

What You Will Need :
Degree or equivalent higher education qualification in a relevant subject area 1-2 years’ experience in a Search Engine Marketing (SEM) role with a passion to learn and grow your career in this industry Strong, demonstrable understanding of all key areas of SEM and their application R elevant Industry qualifications including Google Fundamental Search o r Advanced Search certification; o ptimi s ation tool certification s ( Kenshoo , DoubleClick, Marin ) would be a plus Experience with web analytics packages (in particular Google Analytics) and data analysis Excellent grasp of Office software, with particular emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint C onfidence in gathering, manipulating and prese nting data in multiple formats and environments Time management / personal organisation; must be comfortable managing multiple proje cts, stakeholders and deadlines Passion for delivering high quality service
