We are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Lead with a direct reporting line to the Site Director. This position will be based at our manufacturing facility in Ermington Sydney where Panadol is produced for a 24 month fixed term contract.

The role forms an integral part of our Ermington site and is a key member of our senior leadership team and site operations panel. The focus of this position will be to lead, manage, direct and motivate the supply chain and logistics team.

The successful candidate will set a strategic vision for the function through understanding site goals, milestones and targets. You will ensue alignment of the team creating a vision whereby the supply chain team delivers results whilst being aligned to the overall site strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsibility for Planning, Change and Warehouse departments.

• Focusing on customer / supply chain cluster relations / expectations accurate meet customer requirements and support deliver of site budget, without adversely affecting site inventory levels.

• Ensure delivery of performance and development objectives of the team whilst enhancing and building capability.

• Responsibility for driving key success factors for the business through the supply chain and logistics team – quality, safety and output.

• Ensuring key components of supply chain processes are completed in line with the regional monthly planning cycle such as, capacity review, KPI reporting and root cause analysis of unplanned downtime.

• Identify and evaluate opportunities to grow the GMS Sydney business via existing product launches into new and emerging markets and or new product introductions. Ensure robust site impact assessment procedure in place to ensure that model can be supported.

• Lead Complexity Reduction/ Value Engineering Initiatives for site.

• Support site budgeting process and management of the supply chain and logistics budget to ensure that expenditure is controlled within the approved budgets.

• Champion safety across the department and site.

As an experienced professional bringing 8-10 years supply chain manufacturing experience. You will have gained tertiary qualifications in a Business related discipline and will have ideally completed post graduate study. With demonstrated management experience you will have an extensive and comprehensive understanding of supply chain within complex large organisations.

With demonstrated business acumen and commercial appreciation you will be able to provide insightful leadership in a multifunctional environment which will play a crucial part to success in this senior level opportunity.
