The opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Improvement Officer to be a part of our Finance and Investment team within Transport for NSW. This position plays a key role in mapping and documenting processes, and providing project support services and reports to the Principal Manager Systems and Business Support.

  • Analyse and document processes to provide reliable and accurate input to the development of new and modified systems and processes.
  • Coordinate inputs from a broad range of business entities to ensure that existing and proposed processes are accurately analysed and enable the development of effective new and revised processes.
  • Prepare project timetables and calendars, develop and monitor project plans for major activities and coordinate a range of program support activities to enable the unit to deliver on its priorities.
  • Undertake projects including documenting processes, administering training and education programs and acquiring resources to support the implementation of the transition process.
  • Collate, extract and analyse information and present this information in a variety of formats to provide input to a wide range of reports, briefs and government advice.

We are looking for a Business Improvement Officer who can demonstrate a sound understanding of technology and has experience in supporting the implementation of major business and organisational change.
