About the Opportunity As an Environmental Health Officer you will ensures that Cumberland Council is at the forefront of Environmental Health practice and implement a program that ensures that the Environmental Health Service preserves public health and the environment. In addition as an Environmental Health Officer you will also facilitate outcomes that simultaneously maximise value to stakeholders, and protects the health, environment and amenity of the community.

Salary: Employment is under the Local Government (State) Award. This position is placed in Grade 13 (Over Award Rate) of Cumberland salary structure, with a salary starting from $1,420.28 per week. Commencement salary will depend upon qualifications, experience and competencies.

Conditions of Employment: This is a 2 year fixed term position with RDO’s/flexible working arrangements to be negotiated and includes a leaseback vehicle. This position will be initially located at Merrylands, however there is the possibility that you may be working across the Merrylands and Auburn worksites.
