The role is tailor-made for an energetic Sales Executive who understands how small and Medium Business think/work – and is passionate about print and digital media sales. The Right Candidate would be growing with the company and becoming Territory Managers within 9 – 12 months.

Who must NOT apply -

- Only ever done Retail Sales whilestanding at a shop( Door to Door Experience is OK )

e.g. Working at a Takeaway / Coles / Target / Shoe /Dress etc Retails Outlets

This role is tailor made for an ambitious and self-motivated Advertising Sales Professional with a charming personality, and a knack for creating business relationships by understanding of day to day marketing challenges of Small and Medium Business Enterprise.

This is a field based job , where your core duties will be acquiring new clients, pitching new marketing ideas to existing clients, creating long term relationships with excellent retainability practices in place. You will be responsible for developing successful ongoing relationships with new and existing clients – the full sales cycle!

The role is all about Print Advertising Sales, Digital Media Sales, Client Liaison, Selling Marketing Solutions and Account Management

Duties & Responsibilities

- The successful applicant will be passionate- borderline -obsessive about Sales.

- Must be able to think on their feet adding ideas of marketing value to create, maintain and retain business relationships.

- Providing follow-up customer service with excellent verbal and written communication skills – like clockwork are going to a part of the daily culture.

Acquire New Clientele / Retain Existing Clientele / Re-Acquire Old Clientele

Your impeccably presentable personality, business acumen and curious nature will lead you to *prospect*for the right client, and setup meetings where they expect value from their time and yours.

- Lead generation to *develop a generous sales pipeline*and bring on board the right clients by Identifying opportunities to develop strong business relationships with clients

- A consultative *sales cycle*where you’re making contact, then conducting a thorough needs analysis around marketing objectives and tailoring a solution to achieve goals for both the client and us – your employer.

- You will be speaking directly to *Marketing Managers and Business Directors*, hence you need to be confident and credible dealing at this level.

- *Earn trust of existing clients*over a short amount of time and uncover services that they don’t know that they need – *But DO need*- and convert to planned campaigns via upsell and cross selling value added services.

Skills and Experience

- Within this role we are looking for an enthusiastic team player responding positively to targets set out before them.

- A background in B2B sales is a must , and experience in print/digital advertising sales and selling digital marketing will be highly sought after. Previous advertising experience can extend to come from any genre including Radio, Print, Online, or Magazine.

- A working understanding of Google SEO Marketing, Google Adwords Marketing and Social Media Marketing, EDMs will definitely assist your application, but is not essential.

Minimal Requirements – MUST HAVES – Non-Negotiables

- 6 months or more experience in B2B outbound Sales and Marketing solutions selling Print/Online/Outdoor/Magazine Advertising

- Motivated and driven to succeed in the multicultural media industry.

- A likeable, approachable and personable aura oozing personality and confidence

- Driven by Goals, Honouring Sales Deadlines and Targets

- Comfortable with cold calling and handling Rejection

- Professional networking, articulating effective written and oral communication skills

- Thorough with followups, and autonomous responsibility

Preferred Requirements (Not Necessary, but preferred)

- 6 months or more advertising sales experience in Print and Online Media

- Strong Contacts, Influence and Personal References in the Multicultural Advertising space or Online Advertising Space

- Working Understanding of Google Advertising, Google Adwords, Facebook, LinkedIn and Google PLUS/Google My Business

- Car with clean driving history

Shortlisted Candidates will have to show these traits from past sales Experience

- Demonstrated ability to build and manage relationships across all levels of Management

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to create winning proposals

- Demonstrated ability to meet sales deadlines, prospecting deadlines and successfully manage priorities and cultivate a healthy sales pipeline – Autonomously
