Our Federal Government client is looking for an experienced Events Coordinator to join their team for a 2-month assignment to commence immediately.
The Events Coordinator provides the community engagement team with assistance and support in the implementation, management and delivery of regional events. In addition, this role will assist in the preparation of online events such as webinars, meetings and official openings. Other key responsibilities will include, but is not limited to:
Assist in the preparation of presentations and event briefs in partnership with Communications and Regional Engagement team;
Assist and engage with Stakeholders to assist in the development and delivery of communications materials for high profile local events.
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated background in engagement that will assist you in working with internal and external stakeholders, including the media and public, to support the delivery of a range of strategic engagement and event solutions. Your relevant experience, insight, knowledge and experience in events management and administration will be highly regarded, along with your strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
