About us

This position forms a vital part of the Dispute Settlement Centre of Victoria (DSCV) training team to maintain our successful brand reputation of a high quality dispute resolution training provider.

This is a pivotal role in the development and delivery of external training packages to create and build capability to resolve conflict in Victorian communities.

About the role

The Learning and Development Advisor is responsible for building DSCV people capability to support delivery of alternative dispute resolution training packages across Victoria, and for the design and implementation of organisational development initiatives to improve organisational effectiveness.

The Learning and Development Advisor will support the Manager, Service and People Development by taking a lead in the training and education portfolio for DSCV both as a Registered Training Organisation and also as a Recognised Mediator Accreditation Body within the National Mediator Accreditation System.

About you

As our ideal candidate, you will have:

  • experience in a senior learning and development role, including curriculum development
  • demonstrated knowledge of conflict resolution, mediation and ADR theories and processes
  • demonstrated knowledge and expertise in the delivery of conflict resolution and mediation training, including participating as an assessor.
