IT Project Manager, Best Customer Experience – 24 months
Description
An exciting opportunity is available for an accomplished IT Project Manager to manage the successful delivery of all IT projects within Daimler’s Best Customer Experience initiative. As an excellent influencer you will manage all relationships between business product owners, regional/global counterparts and external suppliers.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Project Execution & Business Analysis
Driving the successful execution of IT projects, ensuring projects follow standard Daimler methodologies and processes and adhere to agreed governance and compliance requirements. This includes managing project scope, budget, timelines, change requests, procurement and reporting for all IT components of delivery.

Vendor & Virtual team Management
Tracking and managing multiple vendors (including internal Daimler teams) to ensure delivery quality is as expected, on time and cost appropriate.
Managing virtual teams such as business unit stakeholders, senior business management, IT staff and vendor employees.

Qualifications
Experience/Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in Information Systems/Computing
  • Minimum of 3 years in project management and business analysis in a corporate environment
  • Strong vendor and contract management experience
  • Broad experience with information systems and applications
  • Familiarity with formal project management & business analysis methodology (e.g. BABOK, PMBOK, AGILE/Scrum)

  • Strategic and clear thought process and the ability to simplify complex processes
  • Consultative approach and experience working with diverse teams
  • Strong customer-facing and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Ability to deliver quality results on time and manage multiple priorities
  • Enjoys working in an ever changing, fast paced environment
