The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Rostering Officer to be a part of our Customer Service Delivery team within NSW TrainLink.
The primary purpose of the position is the provision of a rostering support service to Customer Service Delivery that enables the efficient planning and utilisation of Customer Service Delivery resources through the application of Customer Service Delivery Rostering Business Rules and Procedures

We are looking for a Rostering Officer who has demonstrated ability to be results orientated in a Rostering Environment and has experience with commercial software packages.

  • Demonstrated ability to be Results Orientated in a Rostering Environment
  • High level of communication skills and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Knowledge of construction of rosters for a large and complex workforce and the ability to work as part of a team to meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience with commercial software packages such as Microsoft Word and Excel for document writing and reporting also MicRoster and OPCREW
  • Committed to the application of fatigue management principles
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of issues that affect the implementation of OHS, EEO principles and ethical practices
