About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Facilities Manager, we are looking for a Facilities Manager who will play a pivotal role in managing all aspects of building and essential and non-essential services maintenance whilst ensuring optimum service delivery to the client; and supporting the implementation of the operational facility management strategy.

Key Accountabilities:
Implement the facilities management service, which encompasses ad hoc maintenance, fire, mechanical, electrical support, service coordination of all related admin services as required.
Manage site operations to ensure continuity of property services with minimum disruption to the client’s business operations.
Raise work permits including tag out and hot works requirements, sign off work permits and collaborate onsite to optimise the work schedule.
Conduct and document client meetings with appropriate work stream leaders, Head Contractors regional monthly meetings and attend WIP meetings.
Manage and control budget and cost expenditure for facilities management operations for the client.
Deliver on going performance and compliance reporting to all stakeholders, following contract and corporate obligations.
Conduct property inspections and audits involving the review of property operations to ensure cost effectiveness is maximised.
Review and update compliance database to ensure statutory and regulatory compliance and conduct Head Contractor and CSC Contractor audits to SLA and Risk Management standards.
Process Monthly Head Contractor invoices, general invoices both scheduled and ad hoc and review and approve quotes.
Work safely and not put themselves or anyone else’s health or safety at risk by their acts or omissions.

About You

To be successful in this role candidates will be client focussed with demonstrated ability to establish positive business relationships with various stakeholders. You will also possess the following:

Experience within Facilities Management, and / or corporate real estate and building management.
Strong Technical understanding of electrical, mechanical & engineering services.
Experience working with sub-contractors is highly regarded.
Candidates will have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Microsoft Office proficiency
Ability to monitor and develop works programs
Financial Acumen and budget responsibility
Knowledge and experience in best practice in WHS, Environment and Sustainability
