We are seeking an energetic person to provide clerical and administrative support to the very busy Ante-Natal Clinic at Wyong Hospital….
The incumbent is responsible for providing administrative support for the Medicare Billing and Obstetrics and Gynaecology Clinics at Wyong Hospital.
The incumbent is responsible for the prioritising and planning of workloads and would be expected to have good computer and communication skills.
We are seeking an energetic person to provide clerical and administrative support to the very busy Ante-Natal Clinic at Wyong Hospital.
The incumbent is responsible for the Medicare Billing of the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Clinics at Wyong Hospital on behalf of the Staff Specialists
The position is permanent part time, 3 days per week, 7.30am to 4pm. Currently the days are Tuesday, Thursday and Friday but may change in the future depending on service provision.
A person with high level customer service focus under challenging situations and the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team is essential. A sound knowledge of Medical Terminology and applicants with experience in a similar role are encouraged to apply.

Demonstrated computer/data entry experience, preferably incorporating Cerner or similar Patient Administrative System
Knowledge of Medicare Benefits Schedule
Demonstrated recent clerical/administrative experience
Proven experience in implementing new systems and process change
Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
Demonstrated high level of written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated commitment to Caring for the Coast vision, goals and strategies, with demonstrated behaviours which align with the NSW Health CORE values and CCLHD Values and behaviours charter.
This position requires a Working With Children Check (WWCC) issued by the Office of the Children’s Guardian.
